The second-annual Arizona Fine Art EXPO, a production of Thunderbird Artists, will be the exclusive setting for Austin Deuel’s unveiling of his third book, “Swan Lake, Natures Amazing Grace”. This book completes a 10 year project of writing, paintings and sculptures of Swan Lake and southeast Alaska which he first visited in 1985.
This limited edition book will be signed, along with Austin’s other books, at the Arizona Fine Art EXPO on Friday, February 24th from 10am to 7pm and everyday thereafter until the close of the show, March 26th. The Arizona Fine Art EXPO is located at the southeast corner of Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale Roads (23023 N. Scottsdale Road), in Scottsdale, AZ. Austin has been off the art scene for over 15 years working on his latest book and says “Have paint box…will travel”. Austin not only writes about his subject matter - he lives it. He spends numerous months and even years living the life, learning the hardships, the beauty, the ways and traditions so that he can share his knowledge through written words and paintings for his readers.
Austin’s other books are Canon De Los Artistas published in 1982 with reference to Ba Ja and Even God Is Against Us published 1986 regarding his experiences in Vietnam. He’s also written about his experiences and travels in Alaska, Africa, Austria, Russia, Paris and Amsterdam.
