BONINE STUDIO, SCOTTSDALE, AZ. ANNOUNCES THE BOOK RELEASE OF:
JEANNE BONINE
INSPIRATIONS OF TIMELESS BEAUTY

Arizona Fine Art Expo Press Release Beauty and inspiration define this twenty-year retrospective of transparent watercolors by Jeanne Bonine. Her journey-the need to find reason and purpose-is dictated by the twists and turns of life's opposition. Despite the strug¬gles she encounters, she keeps her optimism, drive, and search for self-realization. A self-taught painter, she boldly begins to self-publish her works as limited edition prints at an early age, dedicating herself to a lifelong relationship with her art. Always haunting her is the desire to serve humanity. In her quest to do so, and in the middle of her career as a successful artist, she is diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. Surrendering to a higher purpose, Bonine's work becomes larger-than-life and bolder with each stroke of courage. The remarks Jeanne begins to hear bring joy to her ears: "Your paintings take my pain away." These are the words that make her realize she is indeed fulfilling the intent of her life's purpose. In a need to further express herself and communicate to others the beauty she sees, Bonine begins to write inspirational prose.

Each day is one of gratitude for this artist who believes in the magic of life. She continues to paint in the Now of the Moment, infusing her spirit into her watercolors for all to share. This is a spiritual journey of courage, optimism, sacrifice, belief and survival.

Along with her life story over 75 of Bonine's paintings are eloquently displayed alongside prose and poetry, reflect¬ing the beauty of her work and the underlying essence of what drives the artist to create-inspiring others.

The l28 page hardbound cloth volume with full color jacket retails for $55. Limited Edition Sets Bound in a leath¬ery-cloth with matching slipcase are also available and strictly limited to 50 Patron Editions ($1500) which include a s/n gicleč of the painting, "Angel by My Side" and 250 Collector Editions ($350) with a s/n gicleč of the prelimi¬nary drawing. A former native and resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, Bonine made the Southwest her home in 1994. Surrounded by subtle beauty and luminescent light, Jeanne finds the Sonoran Desert a vital part of her inspiration and well-being. Her studio in north Scottsdale is open by appointment, should you have the opportunity to visit.

Bonine's watercolor images can also be found in galleries throughout the United States and in collector's homes and offices throughout the world. Her works have been featured on Northwest Airlines wine and food menus, in Victoria magazine's "Favorite Things" column, and on the walls of Arizona's Hilton Mesa, Camelback Spa, and Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale.
