Outdoors in the Sculpture Garden patrons can visit the artists working in cabanas firing clay, glass blowing, stone carving and etching, metal welding and more.
“The working cabanas provide a rare opportunity for patrons to view world-class artists in their own studio-like setting,” said Judi Combs, president of Thunderbird Artists and CEO of the Arizona Fine Art EXPO. “Whether it’s watching metals spark into fine sculptures, the transformation of a gather of glass pulled from the Glory Hole and magically transformed into an elegant piece of glassware or the sculpting of raw stones into dramatic sculptures, there’s sure to be a demonstration for just about any artistic interest.”
