Since 1981, Thunderbird Artists has continued to produce quality, juried Fine Art Events. During the past 15 years, we have established ourselves as the leading producer of fine art and wine festivals in the United States, and consistently ranked within the top 10 "fine art" events in the country by many prestigious art groups and publications. I am extremely proud of this recognition and I am driven to maintain the superior standard for all the events we produce. The inaugural EXPO was a success beyond our expectations. We look forward to another exciting year as one of the leading tourist attractions in the beautiful sunshine state of Arizona.

In 2004, knowing this event was to be the biggest project in my life and that the Arizona Fine Art EXPO could only be another success like that of Thunderbird Artists, I can now proudly share with you that we received outstanding reviews. This accomplishment is credited to my marvelous husband Roger, who has provided his support and partnership throughout our married life; Denise, my sweetheart of a daughter that has worked for 15 years helping to build the Thunderbird Artists trust and reputation; my wonderful brother Dennis; his lovely wife Judy Long; and all the artists who supported our first annual event. At the time I approached Dennis and Judy to take on a partnership with Roger and me, they were living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dennis was an engineer working on his table patents; Judy was busy working for a jewelry designer and volunteering at Blodgett Hospital. Last year brought a very big change in their lives, but they loved every minute of their new experience with the artists. They are hooked on art, the artists and the Arizona Fine Art EXPO, as are many of the patrons who attended last season.
With the formation of the Arizona Fine Art EXPO, we have taken our passion for fine art and created an event that combines the aspects of a juried fine art festival, the elements of a gallery and the inner-workings of an artist’s studio. The result is a unique execution of art that functions as an educational tool for the public and children in our community.
