The 2005 Expo was a wonderful success after much hard work, preparation and dedication.

Celebration after confirming the location for the Arizona Fine Art EXPO 2005

Success! After much searching and consideration, we receive confirmation from Rawhide that we can use their location for the First Annual Arizona Fine Art Expo. This is also the last year Rawhide was at this location.

These are the panels that were built for the first annual Arizona Fine Art EXPO. Over 250 panels were built. Single-sided panels weighed 200 pounds and double-sided were 300 pounds each. From October 2004 to January 2005 Arizona experienced tremendous rains which warped over 100 panels. This meant that the warped panels had to be transported back to the warehouse, rebuilt then transported back to the EXPO site to go up in time for the opening.

Once again the crew at the site was fighting mud, rain and the cold weather. We did have some beautiful sunsets while the tent was going up.

Our dedicated crew worked into the night to meet the deadline. Everyone wanted the 2005 Arizona Fine Art EXPO to open on time. Each person involved played a significant role in our timely opening.

Things come together and the tent is constructed and the inside carpeted. We are eagerly awaiting the time when the artists will fill the tent with their magnificant works. To kick things off we meet with all the artists, welcoming them and thanking them for participating in such a fine event.
